As founder and Principal of Kennedy’s Performing Arts since 2003, Nikki has a wealth of experience in planning, teaching, studio management, directing and choreography. Specialising in offering performance arts training to children from pre-school age through to higher education, she tutors students up to and including level 6 within the National Qualifications Framework. Along with producing two musical theatre productions a year at some of the countries leading theatres, she has also been invited to mentor trainee teachers on the Royal Academy of Dance classical ballet teaching studies programme. Nikki is an experienced and qualified teacher choosing to enter candidates for examinations with The Royal Academy of Dance (Ballet), The Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (Modern jazz, tap) and Trinity College London (Speech and drama, musical theatre, performing arts). Recent professional engagements include choreography for ITV’s Dancing on Ice and producing opening programmes of entertainment for the Ideal Home Show working alongside Laurence Llewelyn Bowen, Gino D’acampo and George Clarke. Nikki has been privileged enough to train a huge number of students wishing to pursue a career in performing arts to a high professional industry standard. She is extremely proud of the many students that are now working professionally within teaching, theatre, television and entertainment.

After going to drama classes from the age of 7, Brooke began her acting career in 2002 , receiving her first role in “ A League Of Gentlemen”.
In 2004 Brooke was cast as “Sophie Webster” on ITVs Coronation Street and is still a major part of the soap today. Wanting to exhibit her wide range of skills, Brooke took to the stage playing the role of Queenie in the play “Be My Baby” which toured the UK and received excellent reviews from the critics. Brooke’s versatility in performing arts has caught the attention of a wide range of media platforms and she was invited to become a guest presenter on Manchester Hit Radio Station “Key 103 “ on the breakfast slot. Brooke also appeared in a short film “LIV” playing title role. Brooke has also appeared on a number of reality panel shows including, “Celebrity Juice” with Keith Lemon and “I’m a celebrity get me out of here after camp”. In 2018 Brooke once again demonstrated her strength and versatility by starring in the reality show “Dancing On Ice”. Kennedy’s joined the rest of the nation supporting Brooke all the way to the final! Brooke is an extremely experienced and diverse performer and loves to share her expertise and knowledge with the boys and girls at Kennedy’s.
Isla studied at the Royal Northern College of Music and graduated in 2017 with first class honours.
Isla has experience in teaching people of all ages and inspiring them to gain confidence in singing. She teaches privately from her home in Didsbury and also coaches the choir at St. Paul’s church in Withington.
Isla’s operatic experience spans work with British Youth Opera, RNCM Opera, Leeds Youth Opera, Flatpack Opera, Dorset Opera and most recently, a production of Verdi’s Falstaff alongside Sir Bryn Terfel conducted by Vasily Petrenko and the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra.
Isla’s operatic roles include Susanna and Barbarina in The Marriage of Figaro (Mozart), The Governess in The Turn of the Screw (Britten), Mustardseed in A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Britten), Grace Davis in Street Scene (Weill), Apparition in Macbeth (Verdi) and First Spirit in The Magic Flute (Mozart).
Operatic scenes include Serpetta in La Finta Giardiniera (Mozart), Second Lady in The Magic Flute (Mozart) and Laurette in Le Docteur Miracle (Lecocq).
Alongside singing and teaching, Isla enjoys running, hill walking and discovering Manchester’s best Asian restaurants! Isla loves to share her experience and knowledge with our students.
